Something has happened. Not only is the magic gone, but it has replaced by unctuous corporate cynicism. It’s like Cypher aboard the Nebuchadnezzar looking at the Matrix and seeing blondes and redheads instead of computer code. You hang around this genre long enough, and all you see is hollow…
I love this post.
I really want to make D&D a more frequent occurrence among my friends. We play like once every 6 months.
New icon for my Steam group, Knuckles Up! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Figured I’d post it here, since there’s like 22 of us, and it’s not going to get much attention. I like it way better than the old icon.
The name and concept are based on this inane attempt to make a gesture catch on in high school. It’s a combination between a fist bump and thumbs up. The two parties make a thumbs up gesture, and then knock their hands together as seen here, in an upward-ish motion. It became customary to also say “Knuckles up!” while doing it. It didn’t catch on at school, and it’s really more of a running joke.
If “Knuckles Up!” never becomes anything more than a Steam group, that’s probably for the better.
